volunteers needed for animal sanctuary & place of healing

Description

Small, intimate operation in search of volunteers to help care for plants and animals and to help continue to transform property into place of healing. Currently have 12 dogs, 3 cats, 2 pigs, 2 tortoises, a guinea pigs, and 6 bee hives. All rescues, all therapy animals sharing their love and helping heal people. Other animals to come in the future. Lots of plants too, particularly medicinal cactus. Fire pit, sauna, ice bath, slack lines, outdoor gym, fruit trees, vegetable/herb garden... Interested in people of all backgrounds who have an interest in animals, plants, plant medicines, healing, community, health, inner work, and fun. Casual, low-pressure, welcoming, and enjoyable atmosphere. Flexible days and times. Freedom to choose the tasks you enjoy, whether that's walking the dogs or snuggling the pigs or watering the cactus or tending the vegetable garden or general cleaning or creating art or helping manage guests... Volunteers will be invited to gatherings, meals, hikes, and other events. As operation expands, paid positions may be available. Please reply with a little about yourself and your interest in this.
