Acoustic Jams / Pickin' Circles --- WHERE ARE THEY ??

Used to be...before the internet, cell phones, twitter, and such.....folks brought their guitars, fiddles, banjos, and such together, sat in a circle, TOOK THEIR TURN, and sang, played, etc. Where are they today ? At the senior centers and some other places, they try it out, and then get overwhelmed by old, deaf, electric guitar players, each of whom has to be louder than the next one. Anything within 30 or so miles of Springfield.......ANYWHERE ?? Country, ( OLD !! ) rock, bluegrass, gospel....... Interested ONLY in acoustic........no mikes, amps, speakers.......
