The Oakwood Garden Club is taking a new approach to their spring tradition with the 32nd Annual Oakwood Garden Tour! Historic Oakwood 32nd Annual Garden Tour The Oakwood Garden Club is working to bring our community a safe, lovely garden experience in 2021 by re-imagining their spring tradition with the 32nd Annual Oakwood Garden Tour. Historically, we’ve been delighted to create a lovely seated-tea experience for your patronage. This year, due to COVID-19, the formal tea experience is not possible. But, don’t fret! We are excited to announce this enhanced garden tour experience. On Saturday, April 17th and Sunday, April 18th, guests will enjoy a self-guided walking tour using a smartphone app featuring Historic Oakwood’s fabulous gardens. Please be prepared to walk approximately 1.5 miles and wear appropriate footwear. Garden hats are always encouraged! We can’t have an Oakwood Garden tour without confections! Iced tea will be served during the walking tour in select gardens and each ticket-purchaser will receive a small goodie-bag with sweet and savory treats from local businesses. Note: In adherence with local guidelines, The Oakwood Garden Tour will limit the number of people in each garden. Ticket Information Tickets are $20 per person. Tickets will only be sold in advance and must be purchased by April 9th. Tickets are limited, and the event typically sells out early. This will be a timed-entry event to ensure proper social distancing. Walking tour start times are based on availability at time of ticket purchase. Please carefully check your ticket for the start time of your walking tour to ensure that you arrive for check-in at the appropriate time. The mobile app will show you the walking route to each garden. App information and instructions will be sent in your order confirmation email. To ensure you can hear all of the garden descriptions, we recommend bringing headphones with you. Purchase Policy All ticket sales are final.Event will be held rain or shine. If you are planning to attend the tour as a group and are purchasing tickets separately, please make sure there are enough tickets in your chosen time slot for your whole group.
