Enjoy Working in the Great Outdoors? We're looking for individuals to join landscaping crews in San Juan Capistrano. The job involves clearing overgrown vegetation on open public land. The hours are 7AM to 3:30PM. You must be comfortable working outdoors all day, in all weather conditions. This is a long-term, full-time position and starts at $15 to $16 an hour, based on experience. Responsibilities * Operate a variety of hand and power tools * Maintain and care for company equipment, tools and vehicles * Perform highly physical work on a consistent basis * Follow all safety procedures on project site Education and Essential Skills * High School Diploma or equivalent * Experience in construction or landscape industry is preferred, but not necessary * Must be able to communicate in English * Punctual and dependable * Ability to work effectively with individuals of differing backgrounds, knowledge and skill levels * Able to handle exposure to materials, tools, herbicides and equipment used in construction and landscaping * Must be able to pass a background check* and drug screening (*company will consider qualified candidates with criminal histories in a manner consistent with the law) Local South Orange County residents are encouraged to apply.
