Experience 808s & Meditate: The Immersion, a 90-minute live sonic experience pairing immersive multimedia, music therapy with mindfulness meditation. More than a soundbath, 808s & Meditate invites guests to journey deeper into themselves along rhythmic soundscapes, intentionally crafted by MaestroRiko. The musical experience is amplified by the pairing of a Woojer Vest* - a bass vest featuring 6 transducers that provides 360 degrees of sensory expansion and immersion. Wearing the vest, the peaks and valleys of each musical progression and accompanying affirmation become a somatic experience like no other. The immersion features digital musical compositions tuned to 432hz (a tuning frequency corresponding with earth's natural resonant frequency) and composed to resonate with corresponding energy points within the body. Live and pre-recorded affirmations and mantras for balancing each of these energy points, as well as improvised instrumentation, aid in setting a peacefully charged atmosphere, conducive to a beautiful journey into the landscape of mind or deep relaxation. We encourage you to bring a yoga mat or meditation pillow and a personal effect you’d like to have on your personal altar. There is limited capacity. Guests will be spaced 6 feet apart during the experience and are asked to wear face masks to honor the safety and comfort of all participants in attendance. *Woojer Vest & Belt rentals included in live event ticket purchase About MaestroRiko Riko “MaestroRiko” Morrissette is a sonic healer, producer, and thought leader based in Atlanta, GA. Fusing his background spanning over two decades in music production and performance with his training in Reiki (Reiki I Certified), research in metaphysics and indigenous ceremonial practices, he orchestrates a space of healing through the skilled and purposeful manipulation of sound waves. His soundbaths provide participants with an open space to renew and recharge while basking in the blissfulness of his melodic soundscapes.
