Join us on Friday, March 12th for an online silent auction () to benefit Medical Patient Modesty (www.patientmodesty.org), a non-profit organization that educates patients about their rights to modesty in medical settings. The auction runs through Wednesday, March 17th. Many local businesses such as restaurants and shops have donated gift certificates for our silent auction. There are also gift certificates for hotels and tickets to attractions such as Grandfather Mountain. This is a good opportunity to win bargains while supporting a worthwhile cause.
Two online educational videos will be shown by Medical Patient Modesty for Burke County: Why You Should Support Medical Patient Modesty and Zero Visitor Policy During Coronavirus Pandemic. After viewing both videos, everyone who completes the feedback form on the educational event's Web Page at has a chance of winning a $25 Belk gift card. The winner will be drawn on Wednesday, March 17.
