San Diego County public health officials reported 362 new COVID-19 infections on Friday and 12 more deaths from the disease.
Friday's data pushes the total number of cases in the county to 264,889 and the fatality toll to 3,434 since the pandemic began.
Of 12,907 tests reported Friday, 3% returned positive and the 14-day rolling average declined slightly from 3.1% Thursday to 2.9%.
The number of hospitalizations fell to 295, with 90 people in intensive care beds.
The county confirmed three new community outbreaks for a total of 12 in the last seven days linked to 46 cases.
