Press release from the Town of Middletown: March 12, 2021 COVID-19 Vaccinations For Teachers, Education Staff Underway The gymnasium at Gaudet Middle School was converted this afternoon into a mass vaccination center for local teachers and educational staff. Fire Chief Robert McCall said emergency personnel and volunteers stood ready to vaccinate more than 175 school personnel today. "We're definitely making a difference here and it's good that we're able to help out with our school staff," McCall said. "The response has been absolutely tremendous." "I can't say enough about how encouraged I am by all of this," Superintendent Rosemarie K. Kraeger said. "The amount of teamwork and everyone working together has been phenomenal."
