2nd Annual Jax Beach Charity Spikeball Tournament, benefiting Groundwork Jacksonville. 64 team tournament. Mark your calendars for the 2nd Annual Charity Spikeball Tournament, benefiting Groundwork Jacksonville. Groundwork Jacksonville is an organization that is spearheading the Emerald Trail Project here in Jacksonville, which is a plan to connect the urban neighborhoods downtown with parks and bike paths, ultimately empowering people, businesses, and organizations to promote environmental, economic, and social well-being. The tournament will take place on Saturday, May 8th at 9:30am on the beach between 6th and 7th Ave N in Jax Beach. The tournament will host 64 two-person teams in a single loss elimination bracket-style tournament. The entry fee is $60/team which includes 2 T-shirts. The top 3 teams will receive a Trophy. All teams must be checked-in promptly by 9:15am or forfeit their place in the tournament with no refund. Food & drinks will be available.
