An elegant affair - private screening of Kuongoza - Ebony Payne English’s short film accompanying her 6th studio album. Black Films Matter has the pleasure of hosting the advanced screening of Kuongoza - a visual album by Ebony Payne English (@ebonyoshun). 10 tracks laced with grace, culture, power, and elegance. After the screening this film will be submitted to international film festivals for award consideration. Location: The screening itself will take place in the courtyard at the Main Library on Laura street however the purple carper experience will start at the mural she shares with legendary author from the Harlem Renaissance era, Zora Neale Hurston.
