General Engineering Contractor located in Santa Rosa seeking equipment operator for underground utilities, trenching, grading/excavating and demolition. Our projects are primarily commercial and new residential. If you have 5 years’ experience operating heavy equipment, like to work independently with flexibility, then don’t hesitate to submit a resume. Competitive wages, health benefits and retirement offered. Applicant will need to speak fluent English and must possess a clean California driver’s license and expect to pass a new hire drug test. Work truck will be provided. Qualifications: A minimum of 5 years heavy equipment operating experience California driver’s license - Class A (even better!) Able to lift 50-75 pounds Read and execute plans in the field, site laser Able to follow direction and communicate with others Operate the following: Excavator, skip loader, skid steer, sheepsfoot etc What We Expect Operate heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner Observe all safety precautions and rules specified by federal, state, and company regulations Report unsafe conditions Report accidents or incidents immediately Fuel and lube equipment daily (keep it clean and well maintained) Pay is competitive starting at $45.00-$50.00 hourly based on experience. Have Class A license even better! We will test your operating skills in the field as part of the interview process. Our clients are based primarily in Sonoma, Napa, Marin, Mendocino and Solano Counties.
