Mitch McConnell is afraid that Biden will get credit for turning our economy around. Assuming Biden’s plan succeeds - You are damn straight Biden deserves credit for turning our failing economy around. Trump and the GOP had 10 months in power after the pandemic began to do find ways to fix the economy. They actually poured fuel on the fire. Trump made things worse by ignoring the pandemic. The GOP was begging for a stimulus package and could not pull it together. They received no support from trump. They failed. Biden succeeded in less than 50 days. So yes,.. Biden deserves credit for finding ways to turn this economy around. Just as Biden will receive blame if this plan fails. Would our economy turn around without Biden’s stimulus plan and management of the pandemic? Yes, it most certainly would. Our economy always corrects. But without Biden’s stimulus plan, it would take years rather than months for our economy to rebound. Let’s not forget that other nations around the world were able to save their economies even during the pandemic. China’s economy actually grew 7.2% in the first year of the covid pandemic. Trump was unable to protect our economy. Trump was unable to or flat out refused to manage the virus. Trump was unable boost our economy. Any person can stimulate and economy during times of prosperity. Only a few can stimulate our economy during one of the biggest crisis this nation has ever experienced. Trump is unqualified. He has had 5 bankruptcies in his businesses. That is a strong indicator that he has no idea how to fix a failing business. Our nations economy is no different. Trump froze like a deer in the headlights. He never lifted a finger to help the GOP pass their stimulus plan. Trump panicked. Biden rolled up his sleeves and got the job done. Don’t forget, every member of both parties wanted a stimulus package. The republicans are whining now because they failed to pull it off. Biden and the democrats did not fail. And because of that, schools and businesses are opening and we will be back to a fairly normal life by July. It takes a big person to admit when they were wrong. Trump supporters were wrong for backing the tyrant and they were wrong about Joe being able to lead this nation. You may not like some of Joes policies, but that does not mean that he is not a great leader.
