RE; What's the big deal about climate change?

Description

The climate has been changing for billions of years at times more dramatically than others. The theory of anthropological climate change is an exaggeration based on an unproven theory that hasn't met the empirical proof criteria called the Scientific Method which has been the Gold Standard for more than 400 years. If the world wants to move away from fossil fuels as an energy source that's fine but to mandate it based on an unproven, so far unprovable theory is a huge mistake. Much needs to be worked out before we can rely on renewable green energy, doing so before its ready will cause enormous harm to ourselves that doesn't need to happen. All the technological advances you mentioned, cars, microwaves and computers were not mandated by governments they were adopted by us because of their real time value. Opportunities are subjective, and example is the recently passed pandemic relief package were less than 10% actually went to people who need relief while the rest went to political "opportunities". "Opportunities" are not always equal. The predictions of ACC has been way off, for decades we've been told if we didn't make drastic changes within 10 years we were doomed. Now some 30 years later we're still all here, the polar caps are still here, our shorelines are still here, our big cites off the coasts are still here and most importantly the world as we know it is still here. Based on this alone ACC if it actually exists moves at glacier speed and doesn't demand us to make massive radical changes ASAP. If you want to be a part of this unnecessary change then quit your job and find one in green energy and tells us how it goes but don't you dare take away someone else's job to virtual signal to your friends you support an uncertain ideology. Yes, the climate on this planet has been perpetually changing for millions of years. At the same time, ever since the industrial revolution, human activity has increased the rate at which our planet is warming. The parallel between human industrialization and increasing climate is indisputable. Even a monkey could see the direct correlation / cause and affect. The ONLY people who deny climate change are either unwilling to accept responsibility and the inconvenience of it or arguing against climate change for no reason other than the fact that they enjoy arguing. The type of people that argue against climate hange are the same type of people who would argue that the earth is flat. Personally, I do not see why people resist accepting that our climate is warming. This “tragedy” is providing tremendous opportunities. The advances in technology that have resulted from global warming are astounding. The job opportunities created by global warming are endless. When Ford developed the first viable automobiles, many people resisted the technology. When microwave ovens were introduced people resisted those as well. When computers became a household item, people resisted. Now each one of us has a super computer in our pocket. Many humans fear change. So they deny and resist climate change. Resisting change is part of our survival mechanism. Humans are coded to fear the unknown. Just as some dogs are far mor skittish than others, skittish humans resist admitting the global warming phenomenon. Other people see the advantages and opportunities for embracing it. Talk about wanting 100% energy independence. Cutting off use of fossil fuels is the most efficient way of national energy independence. Green power is patriotic.
