I have to roll my eyes when asked such dumb questions. The Republicans and Trump passed two Bipartisan pandemic relief bills, where were you this past year? The first for about $2 Trillion, the second about $1 Trillion. The Democrats just past a $1.9 Trillion pandemic relief bill with no bipartisan support because as we all know and its been widely reported only about 9% goes to those of us that need pandemic relief which is why Republicans didn't vote for it. Once again Democrats have used a national emergency to pass unrelated legislation that funds their wish list not the country's as a whole. I hope you comprehend my answer because I really don't want to splain it to you again S.F. The only genuine support of the Biden/Democrat pandemic relief bill is the 9% for those who need it. When you break down what else is in the bill you'd be hard pressed to find a single Republican who supports that 91% of it. You personally not knowing anyone who doesn't support it is a minuscule percentage of the country and hardly a good measure of what we all think. S.F. the country doesn't revolve around what you know or think. 78% is a lot less than 91% not going to those that need it and none of Trump's was for Republican political initiatives to keep them in office, as a supporter of Biden you should be infuriated, why aren't you? After the first Stimulus package Trump's Warp Speed development of vaccines that in 9 months started to become available is the primary reason our economy is opening up nationwide, not all the shutdowns and quarantines that didn't work or all the state mask mandates that have proven themselves less than adequate. The very same vaccines Democrats and their leadership when first asked about questioned were they safe or effective. Now you're really getting obnoxiously stupid, the very fact that the first two Stimulus relief bills were "bipartisan" PROVES Trump and the Republicans accepted Democrat ideas for it or they wouldn't have voted to pass them in Congress. Conversely Biden and the Democrats rejected all the Republican requests for this last stimulus which is why it was 100% completely partisan only Democrats voted in favor of it. I have no idea how you could say what you've said when its so obviously wrong, in fact its a bald faced lie! What would I do differently, I wouldn't include anything in a pandemic relief stimulus bill that doesn't have to do with the pandemic relief to citizens. I wouldn't inject new voter legislation because it has nothing to do with pandemic relief. I wouldn't give 10s of billions to states that had revenue surplus from last year. I wouldn't send 10s of billions to foreign countries as this bill does. I wouldn't allow illegal immigrants to receive stimulus relief checks when the money should go only to citizens I wouldn't give billions to teacher's union who refuse to teach our children that did immeasurable damage to the poorest of them. That's for starters, would you please to do something for me? Questions for San Jose: Why didn’t Trump and the republicans pass. Second stimulus bill? They had more time than it took Biden to do? I have yet to meet a single American opposes an economic stimulus package. Joe Biden’s plan has strong Republican support and nearly full support of the democrats. Why not pass it? Can you name one thing that Trump did after the first stimulus package that benefitted our economy? For those who are too lazy to read the Trump stimulus package, it sent 78% of the funding to big business and the wealthiest (not needy) Americans. Trumps plan stimulated the wealthy but the money never trickled down. Trump never even consulted with the Dems on his plan. Joe sat at the table several time with the GOP leaders looking for their input. They stonewalled him. So he passed the bill without them. San Jose - offer solutions or your posts re meaningless.
