I agree with Berkeley on this one. We learn what we do want in life by experiencing what we do not want. A sane person only has to be in one toxic relationship before they realize that they do not want that ev3r again. I understand why Americans were willing to experiment with Trump. He talked a big game. He was a non politician. He was gong to drain the swamp and make America great again. As it turned out, all he is is talk. He has the gift of gab but is a man of no action. Somehow, Trump the non politician fit right in in Washington. He made the other lifelong politicians look like rookies. As it turns out, Trump is a natural politician. Not what America expected. Trump filled the swamp with the scummiest people who have ever walked the halls of the White House. Then, each of the quit or got fired. As for making America great again... Did not happen. The division that Trump actively promoted in this country has crippled this nation. Trump has caused wounds that will take many years to heal. Trump is responsible for the current Divided State of America. To top it all off,.. Trump took (stole) all of the money his supporters donated to his cause and shoved it in his own pocket. Trump conned his supporters out of hundreds of millions of dollars. The crazy part is, many of them still back him... I too am glad that Trump was president because we know America will never allow a tyrant like that into the white house again. It was a painful lesson to learn but now, life is better than ever.
