Description
Do you love cats and kittens? Do you have a soft spot for young, injured or vulnerable animals? Cat Rescue and Adoption Network (CRAN) needs you!
Volunteers at CRAN TLC Building will be caring care for the most vulnerable of CRAN’s cats. Volunteers will work with cats and kittens that may require special medical care or have special needs. For example, CRAN's ringworm treatment program is located at TLC and there is a special protocol that must be followed since ringworm, while easily treatable, is contagious. Duties include, but are not limited to: Administering treatment (training provided), socializing cats/kittens, and daily cat care. Cat care includes feeding, scooping litter boxes, doing laundry, and cleaning such as scrubbing litter boxes, carriers, kennels, mopping floors, etc. (feeding, changing out litter boxes, cleaning rooms, laundry etc.)
Volunteers should be prepared to sign-up for one weekly shift of 2 hours. All training will be provided.
Volunteers should be comfortable following written directions, as well as be self-directed and dependable. If interested, please submit an online volunteer application here: https://catrescues.org/volunteer.
CRAN is an all volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Since inception, we have saved over 4000 cats and found them wonderful, loving homes. To learn more about our organization, visit our website: https://catrescues.org/home/about-us/
