Vance Brothers Inc. Denver CO Job Description Truck Driver Class A or B - Road Construction Crew Our road construction crews are working! Our drivers participate as part of the team - working along side and helping coordinate the material delivery for improving our Midwest roads and highways. Duties and Responsibilities: • Must be willing to travel to any and all job sites (including overnight stays out of town rarely). • Perform a variety of tasks in residential/highway road construction projects; perform manual work in preparing surfaces for paving preservation. • Performs basic road repair and maintenance tasks; reports safety hazards and traffic problems. • Ability to work extended hours & irregular days with irregular breaks. • The driver will be responsible for loading their truck, strapping down material, equipment, etc and driving to the jobsite. • Will be required to maintain necessary logs, driving records and DOT certifications. • Complete Daily pre and post trip inspections of vehicle. • Complete driving assignments in a timely and safe manner. • Complete all other tasks assigned by supervisor or manager. Key Responsibilities: • Have a Valid active CDL-A or B, hazmat and tanker endorsements are a plus • Pass an MVR and a Drug Test • Assure customer satisfaction • Represent Vance Brothers with integrity and professionalism. • Must be able to meet all safety requirements and applicable safety policies. • Work overtime as required. • Position requires that you be able to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail. • Organized and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. • Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the general public at all times. • Report to the assigned job site in proper attire and ready to begin work at the designated start time. • Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required.
