Description
What makes us unique? We focus on the design, installation and maintenance of seasonal color at commercial properties. Photos at our website show examples of our work www.landscapeacc.com No mowing! No large tree work! We work hard, but the work is not generally "hard labor" compared to other types of landscaping. We are more so gardeners on a larger scale than do-it-all landscapers. The least labor-intensive positions only require using a hand trowel to plant flowers and gardening tools (trowel, cultivator, scissors, pruners, water buckets, etc.) to maintain our flower displays. Experience not required. Willing to train great workers with an attention to detail wanted. Positions start as seasonal (April/May through November) and there is long term opportunity to become a year-round, salaried employee. Starting pay dependent on experience/position. Typical starting range is $13-$25/hr, with opportunities for raises throughout the season and profit sharing bonuses connected to performance. -Reliable transportation needed - company vehicle not provided to start. -Smoking/vaping is not allowed on client properties, can only be done while driving between work sites and we can be at work sites for several hours. If you need to smoke/vape regularly, this won't be a good fit. -No illegal drug use Roles have typically been in two categories, but there can be some overlap. Planters/Maintenance techs: -Follow a given flower design and plant! -Learn how to design flower beds and containers on your own. -We do a lot of planting in May-June, then maintenance season through Summer, and Fall plantings in October-November. -Maintenance includes: weeding, cutting dead flowers, pruning, fertilizing, monitoring soil moisture, etc. Basically all that is necessary to keep the flower displays looking great throughout the Summer. Some permanent planting area maintenance as well.
