Need to put it out there for people to know. There is no help for homeless in Tampa. All the charities that I've been able to find witch are kept a closely guarded secret are scams. Only thing these charities are out to do are line their own pockets not help anyone. Living in their marble mansions and driving their high end cars and when a homeless personasks them for help they are not eligible in some form or another. Truth is if you want to give your money to people that live better than you off of your sympathies then give it to a charity. If you want to help homeless then give to them directly. But what amazes me most is how homeless are treated in tampa.shelters are ran like hotels you pay you stay witch trust me you realy dont want to stay there. Otherwise they have no help for you. You wonder why so many homeless are panhandling at every street corner. Couse nobody i mean nobody will give you a job if you are homeless. And florida has a homeless are not eligible for foodstamps thing. And if you are disabled good luck getting help from solcial security. I've been deaf for many years and im not eligable for anything exept being treated like crap. And cops here love beating up deaf people I've been beaten up by the cops here so many time do to all the broken bones and such im literaly disabled. And if you are homeless in Tampa there is no medical attention for you if you get hurt or sick you are on your own no one is going to help you.when the cops broke my leg i went to the hospital and as soon as they found out i was homeless i was grabbed by the security guards and thrown into the streets. Needless to say Tampa looks out for the rich and the poor are treated like garbage and any kind of hep or assistance is slim to none.
