Barista Skills: Introduction to Coffee
Introduction to Coffee is an ideal module for anyone who is new to the coffee industry or just has an interest in this wonderful drink. It charts coffee’s journey from its “birthplace” in Ethiopia to the major commodity it is today, enjoyed by millions of people around the world.
This is a Specialty Coffee Association Coffee Skills Program course and is a comprehensive ½ day course that helps students develop a knowledge base and common vocabulary that forms the backbone of the SCA Roasting, Sensory Skills, Brewing, Barista Skills, and Green Coffee Programs, all of which are internationally certified by SCA.
