DESCRIPTION
Join Concrete Safaris for our Youth Drop In Sessions to spruce up our gardens! We will be doing a variety of garden activities that consist of cleaning raised beds, planting herbs, vegetables, fruits, and flowers, spreading mulch, picking up trash, weeding, and more. Dress in layers if it is cold out and bring a water bottle. Activities vary. This session is for youth ages 6-12. Parents must drop off and pick up their children or can sit and observe nearby!

WHAT: Volunteers will help with garden maintenance activities at Jefferson Gardens such as spreading woodchips, shoveling compost, removing weeds, raking, trash removal, and more.
BRING WITH YOU: Please wear comfortable clothes, proper footwear, preferably work boots or sturdy sneakers, and bring a reusable water bottle. Food will not be provided, so bring a snack! The event will take place rain or shine so please dress for the weather!
