The brewery's in this town usually have new bands, and new artist. and Breweries are a business pack the brewery on a Monday night with your band, you deserve to be paid well. Some will tell you point blank that you are not the draw for the venue but just back ground noise. Clubs that do pay notice your draw, and when you draw you bring money in the club. I know bands and artist that get paid a couple grand a night in the city, but they also fill the venue, keep them on the dance floor they get thirst they buy more drinks, it is all about business, if you don't draw you wont be asked back. Just because you feel your band is the best thing since sliced bread, if you don't or cant draw then don't expect to get the prime gigs.
