Learn basic woodworking skills while making a decorative lantern out of reclaimed wood and recycled leather. This workshop is perfect for anyone interested in learning some woodworking skills but doesn't have a lot of space in their home for a large project, like a table or bench. In this workshop you will learn to use the miter saw (chopsaw) and brad nail guns to make a small but beautiful decoration for you home. Place an LED tea light inside to add a warm touch. Wood and leather are included in the cost of the class. If you are interested in staining your lantern, you will need to bring stain with you. Note: If the ticket type you want is not available, we may be able to accommodate. Email us at [email protected] to ask. Workshop Policies: Please review policies below before committing to a workshop. All workshops are 18+; no woodworking experience necessary; If Rebuilding Exchange needs to cancel a workshop, we will notify you 24 before the class and give you the option of refund or reschedule; If you are unable to attend your one-time workshop, email us 48-hours before the class starts. If you are unable to make your series class, email us one week before the class starts; Materials are included in the fee for the workshop; and One couple’s ticket allows for two people to make one item together.
