Qigong (Chi Kung) practice encourages us to focus on our breathing while performing basic movements. Qigong is known as "skillful breathing," "energy work," and "cultivation of life force." Qigong can be done standing or sitting.
The benefits have been known to decrease stress, elevate mood, improve sleep, activate healing energy, boost immune system...and more. No special equipment is necessary.
The Cape Cod Tai Chi Society has been doing weekly classes on Wednesdays at 10 a.m. on Zoom. It's fun, there is a sense of being social while keeping safe at home, and we learn new ideas/exercises regularly. Most folks who attend are over 60 years old.
Personal one-on-one sessions are also available and can be conducted on Zoom.
The first class is free...so come check it out. Thereafter, the cost is $15 per session or $50 for a month.
