Outdoor, COVID safe tournament to have some fun and fund volunteer SIUE Mustard Seed Club students to travel and help struggling villages! This Bags Tournament is a fundraiser for SIUE Mustard Seed Peace Project Club. We design, travel, and implement latrines and hand washing stations for struggling communities within Guatemala. These communities are lacking proper sanitation and health conditions. This tournament will fund our students' travel expenses to build latrines and hand washing stations for the community of Las Mojarres. The tournament will be a double-elimination tournament, where the main bracket's winners will win 10% of the pot (up to $150)! The rounds will be 30 minutes timed to 21 points, whichever comes first. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, there will be no concessions, but feel free to bring your own snacks and drinks. Each team will pay a $40 admission fee in advance to be placed in the tournament. COVID-19 precautions will be taken place and taken seriously. All individuals will be required to wear masks, as well as maintain proper social distancing. Any team that refuses to wear a mask will forfeit. The matches will be at least six feet apart, and there will be multipe hand sanitizing stations. Have fun! Enjoy the outdoors! Win!
