Champagne D'Argent Bunnies- Young bunnies- eating well// healthy. Very old breed of Rabbit from Champagne, France. Breed was brought to England in 1920's and later brought to the United States. Born Black in color and turn Light Gray as they age. They are classified as a meat rabbit- but their easy going temperments- also make good pets if you socialize them when young. Weight ranges from 8 to 12 pounds at 8 months of age. Very easy to breed and maintain. Very prolific breeders. 1 female could potentially produce over 250 babies in her lifetime.
