Hello, my name is Jenny, I'm a cellist and an experienced teacher accepting new students for lessons. Pre-Covid I taught in my home studio in the Hollywood District, but until the vaccines are plentiful we can meet over Zoom or Facetime. This summer (or maybe even earlier) I can offer in person outdoor/porch lessons, and I am so looking forward to getting back to teaching in person! A little about me; I've been playing for over 20 years, and I enjoy working with players of all ages/levels of experience: I have students as young as 6 and a number of adult students too. One on one lessons are always personalized; I try to determine your learning style and work with you so you can enjoy learning. I teach theory and note reading, and use both classical and fiddle/folk music to build a foundation, and increase the difficulty as you progress. I also enjoy incorporating duets into the lesson to teach tone and expression, as well as giving students experience playing with others.
