K-1st and 2nd-3rd grad 6 on 6 Flag Football Competition Cost is $25 per team Get your team together now and sign up for the 2021 Upward Pee Wee 5 on 5 Flag football competition! We will have an adult division and a high school division. All teams can be co-ed but its not required. Max players per team is 8 (5 on the field at a time). Saturday April 17th - Each division will be a 6 team two game guarantee. Games start at 10am, last game depends on the number of teams participating. Games to be played at Berean Bible Church 10910 E Boone Ave Spokane Valley All players and spectators will ebe required to meet all WA State Covid restictions. See Covid Related Info below Game Rules - we will follow all Upward Flag Football K-1st grade rules. We will forward game rules via email when you sign up. One person registers your team (include your team name eg: John Smith (Team Name), then we will send you and email requesting the names of the rest of the players and their contact info. Player changes can take place up to game day as long as the new player keeps you in the same division. All players must provide a signed waiver form which will be included in your team email. Sign up soon! Only 6 spots for each division! COVID RELATED INFO Upward Flag Football is doing everything we can to protect you, the public, as well as our workers and volunteers. To this extent, we will be following the Center of Disease Control (CDC) and local health department guidelines with regard to social distancing practices in order to reduce the spread of Novel Coronavirus, or COVID-19. Please follow these policies and procedures when visiting the Upward Flag Football fields. Updated 2/11/21 Phase 2: Facial coverings required for all coaches, volunteers and athletes at all times. Outdoor team training, practices, and competitions allowed for low and moderate risk sports. Outdoor training practices and competitions allowed outdoor for low and moderate sports. Max 200 people allowed at competitions, including spectators. Facilities or complexes with more than one field or area of play a max of 75 people allowed per field or area of play including spectators. All spectators of different households must remain physically distant, 6 feet or more, as much as possible. Parent/Participant Responsibility Ensure that you and/or your child have NOT shown any symptoms of COVID-19 nor have they been around anyone with symptoms in the last 14 days. (see below) Sign the Liability and COVID waiver form prior to participating in activities at Upward. Coach Responsibility Coaches will be responsible for ensuring that the Upward Flag Football ’s COVID-19 Safety Plan is being adhered to. (see below) A safety briefing must be conducted at the beginning of each practice or game to complete a pre-session screening. Each player will sign a waiver of consent and commitment to the facility’s reopening policies prior to their scheduled practice time. Upward Flag Football Responsibility Clean high touch surfaces throughout the day and between user groups. Monitor activity level and teams to maintain social distancing opportunities and limit group cross contact. Communicate with SRHD about guidelines for activities. Communicate with user groups about policies and procedure updates.
