If you artificially raise on element of cost, you either have to cut another or raise prices. If you don't want to work for a lower minimum wage, then don't. Let's start with the ultimate remark: No one should ever work for a wage that does not provide a decent living. It anyway will heart people on the long run. You never will make it if you do. Artificially raise element of cost, that's a funny argument. In Restaurants you pay your check and then you are confronted with an almost mandatory tip on it. If those Exploiters want their Employees make a decent wage, make your meal cost 15 instead of 10.98. And don't ask for tips! Just look at it! People are paying those tips, so don't tell me that it doesn't work. I know you want to make an easy living an put the risk on your employees shoulders. That's wrong! Having a Business doesn't entitled you to make a lot of money, period! You can not make a fortune while your employees struggle to meet month end. That's Exploitation an American Cancer. It's the employer who needs to scale back not the employee!
