CNC Machinist Education/Experience: Associate Degree or Trade School Certificate in manufacturing technology or at least 2 years’ experience as a machinist in a precision machine shop OR a mechanically inclined individual with drive to be a machinist. Required Skills/Knowledge: • Ability to program and operate with minimal supervision, CNC mills, CNC lathe, grinders and other standard tool room equipment • Excellent program solving skills and ability to work within.0002 tolerance range • CAD/CAM experience a must. Mastercam preferred. • Knowledge of materials used in the fabrication of tools • Knowledge of precision inspection practices, hand tools and equipment • Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and tool drawings • Excellent planning and work area organizational skills • Excellent oral communication skills • Very good interpersonal skills Duties and Responsibilities: • Holding to the highest standard of quality while working in a timely manner • Assist other tool makers, when necessary, to achieve on time delivery commitments • Know status of job and whereabouts on the floor at any given time • Adhere to schedule for work priorities • Complete inspection check list • Notify management of any problems or delays that will impact the company’s ability to support established on time delivery • Keep work area clean and organized • Benefits Include: Competitive Wages 401k with Employer Match 3 weeks Paid Time Off Direct Deposit
