Gigging Metallica\Dio Tribute that also plays material from other classic metal bands and we are in search of a strong Rhythm Guitarist. The ability to sing backup vocals is a definite plus and you must also be able to play some leads for harmony parts. Current Song list is below. We are always adding material but this is what we are currently playing. If you already know other stuff or would like to add it we are certainly open to that. We play for the love of the music and putting on a great show. Playing live music and putting on a show is our sport and we are a team. We play locally Springs/Denver area mostly and we don't really have plans to be a touring band. While we play mostly paid events we certainly don't make enough to make a living at it or anything like.. That said, we put a lot of time and effort into our craft as well as the success of our band and so we are looking for the right person with a positive attitude that both compliments and adds value... so apologies for the list of requirements but the right person will understand. Requirements: 1. You're a Fan of the music: Must love Metallica and Dio (we focus primarily on the early material of each) and other classic metal bands.. 2. You're a good fit: We are all pretty normal, easy going, problem free, and chill working adults. We are definitely looking for the right person to join our band.. Attitudes, Perfectionists, alcoholics, or drug issue need not apply (420 is fine). 3. You can play some leads: While we mostly need you to be a strong, steady, and accurate rhythm player you will also need to have the ability to play harmony lead parts. If you are a strong lead player and like to take some of the solos that works also. 4. You're a Quick learner: We play out about once a month (sometimes more), have played shows, and have shows booked) We are capable of holding it down between our lead/Vocalist, Bassist, and drummer but would expect you to learn a 45 minute set of mixed Metallica and Dio songs within a couple months. 5. You can practice on a regular schedule: Currently we practice on Sundays at 1pm for about 2-3 hours at least twice a month but weekly as needed. 6. You have Weekends open for gigging: Our shows are almost always on Saturday evenings but also could be Friday evenings or Sundays. Must have a schedule that can accommodate shows during these times with reasonable notice. 7. You have Pro gear: Solid state Modelers (Ax Fx, Helix, Kemper, etc) preferred but traditional tube amps are fine as long as you have the ability to send Direct Out to mixer. 8. You're Comfortable with or open to using In Ear Monitoring systems: We don't always use them but there may be situations where In Ear Monitoring is used. 9. You're at least 21: We play bars and venues that often have a 21+ age restriction. 10. You have Reliable Transportation: We mostly play locally within Colorado Springs and Denver area.. depending on the opportunity we may go a bit further. You must have the ability to transport your own gear. After getting through all that if this sounds like something you would be interested in then please respond to this posting with your info.
