The founding fathers put the 2nd amendment in the constitution, to assure us of a way to prevent a dictatorship. It wasn't to assure us a way to target shoot, trap shoot, hunt or other relatively inconspicuous past times. We had just spent years fighting King George and kicking the British out of the country, and T Jefferson wanted to tell the new leaders to not fall into the same mindset, as we had citizens armed to the teeth. So fast foreward to today. It is our duty to be armed. So as to keep people like Kammy and Joe from becoming King. Support the 2nd, arm yourself, be involved.
