Pocket pitbull needs a new home!

Hello, I am looking for a new home for my 6 year old pitbull, Duke. Unfortunately, we have had an incident with another one of my dogs and have come to the decision to rehome him. He is great with kids, and great with people! He just takes a little bit of warming up when it comes to men, as he is a rescue and was abused in the past by a man. Straight up, he does not do well with other dogs and must be the only pet in the home. He is such a loving dog, but he’s just had a very rough past in fighting rings, and needs someone that is willing to be patient with him and accept him for who he is. As much as we would love to keep him, we don’t feel comfortable leaving him alone with our other dog anymore, as he’s has been getting less tolerant of her (she’s really obnoxious and in his face all the time). Because of a sense of urgency in finding him a new home, we will not be asking for a rehoming fee, but we will need to make sure he’s going to a good home. He is due for his rabies vaccine, but he is up to date on all other shots. We absolutely will not rehome him to gives up easily, as we fear someone will euthanize him.
