We recently adopted Wendy from a large dog/puppy adoption event of dogs brought from Texas. She was extremely timid and not barking or running around which was unlike any of the other dogs at the event which attracted us to her. Within a day of being in her new home, Wendy started to open up and run around the house, being playful but still very cautious of her new humans. She warmed up and became extremely dependent with one person, always cuddling, staying with, and being an excellent lapdog. However she did not warm up to the other person in the household and has recently started being vocal when he enters the room. It is because of this that we have decided that she is unfortunately the right fit for us. We love her and hopefully she’ll be your perfect forever companion! • We do not know her entire history. We do know she came from Texas and is approx. 18 months old. • We’ve brought her to a friends house who has cats and dogs. She did well with both, ignoring the cats as well as a barking storm of the dogs. • She had not shown any biting or aggression besides growling at the one person in the house. Besides that we’ve never heard any barking from her. • She is microchipped, spayed and up-to-date with her shots. We have taken her to the vet and had needed work done. She may have heart worms but this has not been confirmed. • It is unknown if she was housebroken. She is still anxious to do her business outside and seems to hit the mark on her puppy pads most of the time. • We are asking for some sort of rehoming fee. This is of course negotiable however please be mindful that we just got her for $600 and invested a good amount of money into her with the vet visit, food, and treats. We will of course be providing these to you with her. We will be spending what we receive here on another furry friend. Please understand that we want the best for her and do expect a meeting to make sure she is a right fit for you.
