You are invited to attend a private, weekend, socially distanced Profound Sound Retreat Series at Oak Grove Farm/Saint Anne’s Chapel. You are invited to attend a private, weekend, socially distanced Profound Sound Retreat Series at Oak Grove Farm/Saint Anne’s Chapel. The gates open on Friday April 9 at noon for thoses who would like to come early and immerse themselves in the energy of the retreat prior to activities formally starting on Saturday. The event will be held rain or shine. PLEASE come prepared for the weather. There is a limit of 50 people according to current NC guidelines. The weekend’s music and meditations will be provided by Lipbone Redding and his invited musical friends throughout the day on Saturday. There will be plenty of free time to enjoy our space as well as a few formal and informal programs to enrich your soul. Programs and healers will be posted when you purchase your ticket(s). If you are unable to attend, please consider donating it to our scholarship list. Tickets must be purchased in advance. We will have plenty of space for camping or canopy tents and trees for hammocks. Being a socially distanced event during the time of Covid, you are asked to pack in everything you will need in chairs, camping equipment and food. We also ask that you take special care to pack out all of your trash and help us by leaving the site as clean as you find it. There will not be an event tent, so come prepared for the weather. We ask that you follow the required protocols of masks, frequent hand washing and trying to maintain a 6’ radius from others. We hope this event can continue to set the standard for safe and healthy future events here at Oak Grove Farm. Feel free to bring musical instruments, drums, hula hoops, poi, devil sticks or whatever you bring to festivals that make you and others happy. We will have drumming around the fire Friday night for those that come early. Please do not bring alcohol, tobacco, glass containers or pets. We want to keep the event as organic, sustainable and family friendly as possible. With this event we are introducing “OAK GROVE RETREAT” which is a nonprofit we have established to fund the work we do here at Oak Grove Farm and help it grow. The purchase of your ticket will be a tax deductible donation to help us kick off the work of the foundation. One of the first projects for the “OAK GROVE RETREAT” will be repairing the roof of Saint Anne’s Chapel. Tickets are a minimum donation of $75.00 per person. Children 12 and younger are free. Camping is included. You must RSVP your donation to attend. Passes will be available on a first come first served basis. Please make sure that you include with your donation the names of everyone that is included, how many tents for camping and best email address to reach you.
