We're looking for a landscape technician with top-notch experience to maintain the grounds of our commercial and industrial clients.
Candidates should have 5+ years of mowing experience operating commercial riders, stand-on and walk-behind mowers, as well as handheld trimmers and blowers.
Also preferred is experience in the installation and maintenance of grasses, flowers and shrubs; shrub trimming and pruning; flower planting; shrub installation; small-tree cutting; mulch installation; edging, weeding and other similar jobs. Licensed pesticide applicators in category 3A are also preferred.
Candidates must be in good physical condition and be able to work hard, efficiently and unsupervised (after training).
Occasional two-day mowing runs require overnight stays in the Watertown and Utica areas.
A commitment to safe operating methods is needed, as is a relatively clean driver's license. Responsibilities will also include machine maintenance. Our winter work is in snow services; plowing experience is a plus.
