Description
A month ago, my Facebook account was hacked. The hacker completely changed my email, password, and phone number. Worse, the hacker added the Two-Factor Authentication page to make things more complicated.
I was able to change back my email and password, but not my phone number. As a result, I was stuck in the 2FA page, not able to receive a 6-digit code, because it likely went to the hacker's mobile number.
For a month, I've been trying to get a response from Facebook. I tried submitting my ID for verification, went to the "Security Checks Preventing Login" page. I've even tried contacting employees on LinkedIn of all places, just to get a response from them!
But I got absolutely nothing.
I kept logging in, even if I was unable to go through the 2FA, just to make sure the email and password were not changed.
And now, today, I find out that I was hacked again. The hacker changed the email. I found out when I tried logging in using my account's URL (facebook.com/name). I see a completely different email that I'm not familiar with. And of course the password was changed as well.
This is a nightmare scenario! I thought the 2FA was supposed to protect ME from getting hacked! But it backfired!
I need help here. I need customer support directly from Facebook. I need to speak to a person from Facebook, not some automated bot that is useless.
Does anybody work for Facebook? I need to talk to someone from Facebook.
No information whatsoever was posted here. I'm saving that for when someone actually responds to me.
