Aspiring farmers developing a hobby farm in the Monadnock region of New Hampshire are looking for an experienced farmer to provide consultation and hands-on education on the various steps necessary to harvest fruits, vegetables and flowers. Help shape and restore this beautiful land back to the rich farming spot it once was, and advise us as we plant an orchard, clear fields and amend the soil for prime growing. Some areas we are looking to tackle include best practices on land clearing, soil preparation, planting, weed and pest eradication and the harvest. Hours are flexible and compensation is based on experience.
