Immediate FULL-TIME positions in Established Methuen-based Paving Company. Sorry, NO POSITIONS available for "GENERAL CONSTRUCTION" LABORERS. Solid paving experience is REQUIRED. Minimum 3 yrs on paving or grading crews. F/T OPENINGS for EXPERIENCED Paving Laborers, operators, foreman and/or CDL Class A drivers. Competitive hourly rates, Overtime and PREVAILING WAGE rates paid as applicable, plus benefits. LABORERS/OPERATORS: Specific Asphalt Paving experience A MUST (3 yrs min.). Applicants must have a working knowledge of the installation of Bituminous Asphalt by hand and/or machine (skilled lute/finish rakers, paver operators and screw operators). Work to include: roadways, driveways, parking lots, sidewalks, berm and miscellaneous handwork (Commercial, residential and Municipal). GENERAL LABORERS without prior paving experience NEED NOT APPLY. CDL CLASS A DRIVER: skilled position requiring the ability to drive 10 Wheel and/or Tri-axle Dump Truck (comfortable loading and unloading all paving and excavation equipment), must have experience working in and around paving crews, and be familiar with local Asphalt plants. Individual truck tidiness and basic maintenance expected; some wheelbarrow, sweeping etc. if needed. Need to pass mandatory background checks, have current DOT medical card, AND pass pre and random Drug tests as required by law. All candidates must be DRUG FREE.
