Position requires heavy lifting, carrying sections to shoreline for set up. Mechanical and carpentry skills a plus for new construction projects. On the job training for install and removal services. Center Harbor Dock & Pier serves the entire Lakes Region and other areas in New England, including the following counties: Belknap, Carroll, Grafton, Merrimack, Strafford, Sullivan, Cheshire, Hillsborough, Rockingham and Coos. Position Summary Center Harbor Dock & Pier is seeking seasonal Construction and Installers to build and install docks, boatlifts, swim rafts, seawalls, boathouses, and dock accessories Hours Mon-Sat. 7:00am-5:00pm and able to work overtime hours during the busy season. Season typically runs April - July and Oct- December. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Efficiently assist your crew with the building of new construction projects from start to finish. Mechanical and carpentry skills a plus for repairs and new construction but not required. Follows and applies safety rules and techniques. Ability to swim and to work outdoors in varied temperatures. Physically fit and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis. Tool box / bag with hand tools wrenches, deep wall ratchet set, adjustable wrench, hammer, tape measure, speed square and others appropriate tools, ensuring floats are assembled correctly. Performs other duties as assigned. Compensation: Center Harbor Dock and Pier, LLC offers competitive wages, commissions bonus, paid holidays, wages x 1.5 over 40 hours per week. Company match IRA retirement plan after 2 years employment. Wages start at $13.00 per hour and is dependent upon experience.
