We currently have a Landscape Maintenance Foreman position available in Georgetown, MA. POSITION SUMMARY The Landscape Maintenance Foreman will be responsible for the complete care of residential and/or commercial landscapes for our Property Maintenance Department. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for timely, courteous, and efficient response to clients' and managements' needs. Manage a crew to achieve all productivity, revenue, safety, and company policy compliance. Maintain complete, accurate, and timely records for the company and comply with all governmental regulations. Responsible for the safety, care, and proper utilization of all company assets and crew members. Perform additional duties as required, including on-call, variable work throughout each winter. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This person must be able to manage a crew. Will be responsible for interacting with management and office personnel to help achieve corporate objectives. This foreperson must be able to efficiently and effectively communicate with vendors, employees, and clients. QUALIFICATIONS Valid Massachusetts driver's license required 5+ years of field experience within a landscape environment preferred Horticultural or strong plant knowledge background preferred Supervisory experience of field personnel preferred Massachusetts pesticide license a plus A passion and pride for the Green Industry and a commitment to providing "only the best" landscaping services to clients Strong communication skills, both written and verbal People-oriented and take pride in his/her work Intermediate computer skills; working knowledge of Word and Excel Basic reasoning and time management abilities to coordinate effective completion of tasks The ability to multi-task and handle frequent interruptions Bilingual communication a plus WORK CONDITIONS Must be able to lift and carry 80lbs of material Willing to work in all weather conditions
