Press release from the City of Colorado Springs: March 12, 2021 On Saturday, March 13, from 9 a.m.-noon, there will be several road closures in place during the St. Patrick's Day 5k run in downtown Colorado Springs, weather pending. The race is hosted by the Colorado Springs Saint Patrick's Day Parade Committee and The Grand Prix of Running. The annual St. Patrick's Day Parade and Leprechaun Fun Run will not take place this year due to COVID-19. The following roads will be closed to vehicular traffic during the race: Sierra Madre Street, from Costilla Street to Kiowa Street Vermijo Street, from Sierra Madre Street to Sahwatch Street Cucharras Street, from Sierra Madre Street to the alleyway Antler's Place, from Sierra Madre Street to Colorado Avenue Glen Avenue, from Uintah Street to Mesa Road Additional information regarding the parade can be found at CSStPats.com (link is external).
