Description

Parking Lot Striper: • Drive, operate and maintain paint equipment for application of pavement markings on parking lots. • Perform and document daily equipment/vehicle inspections as required. • Troubleshoot equipment failures and report unresolved problems. • Read, interpret and follow blueprints, drawings and specifications as required to layout unmarked pavement markings. • Accurately track and record quantities of pavement markings on each project. Requirements: • Must have a positive attitude, patience and good follow-through skills. • A valid Class D Driver’s License. • Clean driving record. (no major offenses in the past 3 years). • Reliable transportation to work every day, getting to the shop on time and ready to work. • Must have working knowledge of English enough to read, write, speak and understand oral and written information. • Must have good mechanical aptitude. • Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner at all times. • Willing and able to lift 50+ pounds frequently carrying objects such as paint buckets and/or tools weighing 50+ pounds. • Willing and able to walk or stand to a significant degree on rough terrain. • Typically, overnight hours. • Flexible hours. • One year experience. • Knowledge of Greco Linelazer machines.
