Production Associate-- Commercial Laundry Monterey Bay Laundry Co. is a small, locally-owned laundry service provider that offers commercial laundry and linen services to local businesses. We've established a reputation of meeting the needs of our customers in a more personal way. We are positioned to grow considerably. We're looking to increase our staff at our facility in Marina. We have both part-time and full-time openings (including Saturdays and other days that meet your schedule.) You will be coordinating with our operations team to ensure all items required to meet customer delivery requirements are ready. Your primary responsibilities will be working with Production Leads to meet production output requirements, packaging customer-specific items and staging items for our Delivery Associates. We are a dual-language facility. The ability to speak English is preferred but not required. We'd be thrilled if you have experience in commercial laundry but we'll train you if you don't. The ideal candidate must have the ability to: - Contribute to a respectful workplace - Work well in a team environment and be willing to step into various roles as required. - Understand production and delivery priorities and focus on meeting those priories - Quickly respond to unscheduled production requirements. Requirements of the job: - Able to work well both independently and as a team member. - Work on your feet and lift/package bundles weighing up to 35 lbs. - Have a positive, friendly and respectful disposition - Maintain good attendance and arrive to work for each shift in a timely manner It is a significant advantage (but not required) if you: - Are bilingual (English and Spanish) - Have a valid CA state driver's license with a clean driving record and provide a DMV driving report. - Are able to pass the Federal Government base access clearance process.
