Job Description Overview: We are a growing metal service and distribution center. This position is very hands on. Our company bases its success on finding the best people and helping them develop. Our warehouse team thrives on energy and teamwork. Responsibilities: Daily shipping and receiving of steel products Coordinate inbound and outbound freight Operate an overhead crane Operate and maintain a band saw Operate a forklift Maintain detailed records manually (everything has a paper trail) Maintain a clean and well organized workplace Qualifications: 1-2 years work experience in a warehouse or distribution setting preferred Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail A strong work ethic and flexibility in hours worked (8 hour shifts, but need flexibility between hours of 6am-5pm with some rare evening work as needed) Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability for strenuous physical work (lifting up to 70 lbs) Compensation and Benefits: Full time position Competitive pay DOE 401K PTO Medical/Dental/Vision benefits Profit Sharing Opportunity for Advancement as company continues to grow Excellent training *All employees undergo a physical examination, drug screening, background and credit check Job Type: Full-time Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
