MARINE DETAILER AND PRODUCT HANDLER NEEDED- UP TO 2 FULL TIME POSITIONS AVAILABLE! RED WING MN START AS SOON AS TOMORROW!! Want to join the team in the best year in company history? We are looking for additional human power in our Service department as it relates to detailing and preparing product for customers at our Red Wing Marine Center. Ideal candidate exhibits reliability, intelligence of products and use, attention to detail and thoroughness, self-motivation, fits in with our fun and positive company culture, and is committed to providing excellent service to customers. Opportunity for career and/or year-round fulltime job within company after proven ability. Schedule - Store Hours: 8AM-5PM M-F, some Saturdays. Ability to work earlier-later if necessary Start Date: Properly trained by mid-March *Spring weather dependent $14-17/hour FULL TIME 40+ hours. PART TIME 20ish hours Responsibilities: Complete preparation of new and used equipment for customer purchase, showroom floor, and delivery at a pristine level Wash, wax, and buff vehicles, using buffers, steamers, hoses, vacuums, pressure washers, and other equipment to meet service expectations Clean interior and exterior of product Quarterback with Service Manager on quantity and quality of work within schedule Utilize special purpose cleaners to ensure lasting cleanliness Maintain a clean and safe environment, moving and parking equipment to correct lot location May cross train to perform other duties (i.e. forklift operation, delivery of product to customers and/or other company locations) Maintaining organization and cleanliness on our sales and service lots Qualifications: Previous detailing experience a plus Knowledge of proper products for safe detailing of equipment Self-driven, attention to detail is a must Maintain positive attitude Valid driver’s license (w/medical card is a plus) Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including walking, crouching, bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods of time Availability to work some weekends for boatshows and product showing preparations Previous experience in powersports and/or marine will move you to the top of the list Why Work for River Valley Power and Sport?
