Try riverboarding. Free Demos. Appalachian Riverboard Company will be doing demos on April 21st as part of the Deep South Riverboard Tour.We'll have a few extra boards and sets of gear for you to try out our boards and get introduced to riverboarding. Approximate time will be from 11 am to 3 pm, but that could change depending on the water release schedule for the day as we'll be doing demos during low water as an introduction to riverboarding. We'll update on our social media when we have an exact water release schedule a day or two before. Participants should be comfortable around moving water and will need to bring a towel, swim attire, water bottle, and a change of dry clothes. What is riverboarding?- picture bodyboarding meets whitewater, but on a beefier, more buoyant board designed for whitewater. Riverboarding lets you be IN the water and experience the currents for yourself in a different way than rafting or boating.
