Press release from Pulaski County Special School District: March 12, 2021 PULASKI COUNTY, Ark. -- The Pulaski County Special School District os proud of all of our basketball players who have been competing in the State Tournament this week. In Hot Springs, the Maumelle boys basketball team beat Marion 60-58 and the Sylvan Hills boys basketball team beat West Memphis 76-68 in the first round on Thursday night. Both advance to the quarterfinals to be played Saturday, March 13. Also on Thursday, the Sylvan Hills girls basketball team lost to West Memphis 53-42 in the first round. In Morrilton, the Joe T. Robinson girls basketball team beat Watson Chapel 53-46 in overtime on Tuesday. In the quarterfinals, Robinson girls lost to Morrilton 64-58. Meanwhile, the Mills University Studies High boys basketball team beat Farmington 66-50 today. They advance to the quarterfinals to be played Saturday, March 13.
