Delta Sand & Gravel is looking for a skilled Bulldozer Operator to join our Team QUALIFICATIONS Must meet the minimum requirements for employment: • Must be at least 18 Years of age & 5 years minimum experience operating a bulldozer • Must be proficient in the operation of all common excavation equipment including but not limited to excavators, bulldozers, backhoes, skid steers, off-road dump trucks • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, have a phone and be reachable • Have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record be reliable and have own transportation to and from work • Have a positive attitude and the ability to work well with others and follow instructions • Possess the motivation to operate in a professional manner ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES • Must be able to follow direction, and work both independently and in a team environment, think ahead and work efficiently • Perform daily start-up procedures of equipment, climb ladders or other structures as necessary • Perform cleanup operations and other duties as determined by manager • Adhere to all company policies and procedures and conduct self in a safe and professional manner • Maintain and ensure consistent and accurate work, safety logs, and maintenance reports • Be able to identify and track additional work beyond scope • Work flexible hours including weekends may be required WORKING CONDITIONS • Must be able to lift up to #50lbs without assistance, bend and stoop, squat, kneel, reach, grip, etc. Pushing and pulling up to #50lbs without assistance • Exposed to dirty conditions and to various weather conditions, rain, sleet, snow, wind heat and cold • Jobs are performed in outside environment with close proximity to yard traffic, heavy construction equipment and hazardous conditions COMPENSATION / BENEFITS • Competitive compensation and benefit package including: Medical, Dental, and Life Insurance • Paid-Time-Off (PTO) package and an Employer sponsored 401(k) plan • This is a full-time position: Monday – Friday, with overtime and Saturdays as needed • Competitive wage based on skills and experience An Equal Opportunity Employer (EEO) affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
