New Futures: Public Address Conference 2021 The Department of Communication Studies is excited to host the 17th Biennial Public Address Conference. This year’s conference focuses on pushing public address and rhetorical studies towards new futures of the discipline. Of particular importance, the conference is bringing together long-established scholars in the field with new emergent voices to challenge the disciplines systemic biases. The 2021 conference is scheduled September 23-25 at the Oread Hotel here in Lawrence, Kansas.
